Little by little

We are moving right along with the house.   Although we had a week of "outside" work and BIG things done, like our septic, power being hooked up and water.  OH and let's not forget propane for heat and the heating and AC  is in! Just have to hook up to the units.  They have started plumbing this week and putting our fireplaces in, which I will take pictures of this week.

But I wanted to give a sneak peek of the garage door trim, the front door and our stairs that have been put in!  It's moving right along again.  Hopefully we will be doing electrical next week and then be ready for insulation!

Anyway, thought I would share! :)

I think we are going with steel doors that look like wood.......

                                                                    The front door is in

Transom

                                                                 Still needs railing

This part of the upstairs hallway will be "open" with just railing

XOXO

That front door is gorgeous. Be careful that no one tries to take it. Here they put up temporary doors until close to move in time because they get stolen. When we built our house and went on vacation we came home and our front door was gone. They tried to take the side lights, too, but couldn't get them out of the stucco. We were lucky to find another door just like the first one since we got it at a salvage yard for only $150. We went with steel insulated garage doors that have a wood grain look on the vinyl exterior. They have been very good doors and our garage stays warm in the winter.

Wow, that's beautiful. How fun to be able to watch the house being built! Too funny what Kim just said about the doors. Well, not exactly "funny," but weird, and definitely something to keep an eye on...
