Why I love thrift stores....

Why everyone should give GOODWILL a chance if you do not already. I found this pair of Coach mules this weekend for $15 and they have NEVER been worn! This beautiful and WARM brown coat with real fur lining and fur cuffs and hood! It was $39 and then half off so it was $19. I also found this Vera Bradley purse for $7. And these adorable cedar topiaries from Pottery Barn for $1.49 each! Seriously, what is there NOT to love about this? I also got the beaded purse for $2 and the lampshades (yes I am obsessed). I got the flip flops for $1 and the scarves were all 99 cents except for the 100% silk one, that was a whopping 1.99!!! The magazine basket was $1.49. The little metal frames were 3.99 each, which I thought was a bit high, but they are metal and I loved them!

Quick tutorial on washing a Vera Bradley. Make sure you take out the "base" which is just cardboard in the lining material before washing. Once it's dry (air dry) put it back in and your good to go!

I joined the Linky party at TheInspiredRoom for what "inspired"me. Goodwill definately did this week! :)

I also got a pair of prints that are getting a makeover, stay tuned........

I love this. I am a huge thrift store shopper and I have found some really great things. I don't think that i will ever go back to new stuff when you can get awesome things for cheap! I have yet to find a good purse though! Can you help me with that? By the way, check out my blog, it's called Cincy Cents, and I talk about my clothing finds!

You've got to be kidding me. I never find good stuff like that. I think I need to move to a different area? I'm sure north Scottsdale probably has some great finds. Good for you!

Congrats on your finds! This past year I fell in LOVE with thrifting. I almost never buy anything from the major retailers anymore. I am spoiled by all the goods I've gotten for just a few dollars! It's really fun, isn't it?

I used to live at our Salvation Army and have lots of thrifty finds on my blog! The closed ours! Can you imagine? I'm so sad. Perhaps I'll have to come check out the one in your town. I now go to Binghamton once in a while, but with the weather it is hard to get there right now.

Those shoes are awesome.
