Home Sweet Home!

Yup, this is my house right now.   Just keeping it real......

Just walked in from a week in Lake George with 18 family members!   My parents usually host a 4th of July party, but this year they switched it up a bit.  We decided to go camping (we do every year as well) on the 4th this year.  What a week!  We had a blast!   We watched the fireworks on the lake.  We celebrated my sweet nephew's 2nd birthday.

Getting ready for fireworks...

All of us overlooking Million Dollar Beach waiting for fireworks!

Madi, horsing around with her cousin!

And these pinata pictures are fogged because it was about 102 degrees at NIGHT with a heat index of a million, LOL!  But we still had a great time!   I'm glad to be home, but I'm reliving in my mind what wonderful memories our kids have of this.  I hope they remember it forever!

Madi, sipping a Lemonade on a HOT day on the Mini Ha Ha boat Ride!

Washing down those yummy Doritos her cousins were sharing!

I will be doing a lot of this while I see what you all have been up to!  I missed you all!  Hope your week was great! :)
XOXO

Oh the laundry!! I'm ALMOST finished with mine after the holiday weekend. I think I've washed 300 towels. Okay maybe only 30! Glad you and your family had a great time.
love ya dear,

Hi Kristi, looks like you had a wonderful time together. What wonderful memories for all those children. I love to see fireworks go off over water. That looks so much better than over land. I am not familiar with the Laura Ashley golds. This color changes throughout the day as the sun changes. I actually like it best at night. It is roxbury caramel by benjamin moore.

Look at you showing off your fancy washer and dryer. I miss having a fancy washer and dryer...

It looks like you had a wonderful week. Kristi, I have always been so envious of your big, close family. I don't have that at all. Sometimes I really look forward to when my girls are grown and have their own families so we will have a big extended family. I know how much you value what you have and that you already know how lucky you are!

What fun !!!!! We have a motorhome and used to LOVE going on trips with the kids. We haven't used it since J got sick, but I've been thinking about it again. You may have pushed me over the edge - and that's a good thing - lol !

Mo and I have been talking about escaping to Lake George ALONE one weekend after my son's wedding.... you made it look scrumptious !

thanks for sharing,

Wow! What a wonderful way to spend the 4th! Looks like everyone had a blast!

That pile of laundry is a familiar scene at our house...add in the pool towels for the summer and it just seems to grow and grow!

Glad to have you back!

Enjoy!

Looks like y'all had such a great time! Good luck with all that laundry. I did a few loads yesterday so I don't have to mess with it this weekend. Have a good one!

Laundry is one chore that seems to never end (at least around here)! Isn't it odd when it's so HOT at night! You'd think with the sun going down that it would be cooler. Sounds like you all had a great time together and that's a wonderful way to celebrate the 4th!

Kristi, The memories you created are worth the dirty laundry! This looks like it was such a fun time, and what a beautiful family. Love the little boy in the stroller looking at the little girl with the 4th of July band on her head. He looks like he's thinking "what is that?" although he has a patriotic hat on his head! Great photos. laurie
