Goodbye Diane

On Sept 4th my sister in law passed away, 15 hours after giving birth to her beautiful baby girl. We still don't know exactly why she died, but we are praying those facts will come to light in helping us with closure on this awful ordeal. My nephew, who is 6 yrs old, has lost his mother. He was so close to her and this has been so heartbreaking to watch. He seems to be dealing with it well, considering he never left her side. Here are a few pictures of my beautiful sister in law, my brother in law and their beautiful children. Rest in peace Diane, we will all be together again someday.

  9. Dear Kristi:
Of course, we as human beings, Moms, sisters, daughters, are in pain over the loss of your sister-in-law. Her daughter did not get to know how loving her Mom was : ( I am a friend of Amy's and it broke my heart to read of the sadness your family is dealing with. Much love is coming to you & your family from all of us!!!
    Softly

  20. I hope to goodness they hecked for a clotting disorder. I hope my reply isn't inappropriate, but, I have a clotting disorder called "lupus anti-coagulant" and while in the general population it is represented by 3% and often harmless, it can also increase your risk for stroke, miscarriage, etc. I took lovenox with my first pregnancy, and baby aspirin with my second one.

These situations are horrifying. In this day and age no one EVER expects to lose a loved one in childbirth!

My thoughts go out to your BIL and his children!
